10.2 Find a coach
Someone to advise you, practice and brainstorm with and to help you objectively evaluate your progress.

Find someone who:
- Is not a family member
- Knows you and understands your skills, interests, background and experience.
- Is working full time
- Is willing to meet with you regularly to listen and encourage you.
- Will be tough and direct when you need them to.
- Has some familiarity with employment search techniques and the job market.
- This person may be a teacher, friend, church member, counselor, former business associate, etc.
