5.0 Financial Aid Information

Financial Aid is often the building block upon which the funding of your education is built. Knowing what your education may cost by the time you arrive, the types of aid available, and the potential expected need that you will have at the time of entry are invaluable pieces of information in your planning. This section will allow you to do everything from planning financially to applying online for financial aid. Most, if not all financial assistance questions can be answered in this section.

5.1 Financial Aid Applications

5.1.1 Click here to apply for financial assistance which every student must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This single application opens the door for multiple forms of federal and state assistance depending upon the calculated family need arrived at from the FAFSA. If you're ready to apply (typically, during the middle of the school year prior to the year of post-high school attendance) you should do so now. If you are not yet ready please place printed copy of the FAFSA homepage in your portfolio for future reference.

5.1.2 Click here.  For those who may attend a private institution of higher education, it's possible you will be required to fill out an additional application for financial assistance administered by College Scholarship Service (CSS) called PROFILE. This will be used to determine your eligibility for sources of non-governmental assistance. If this is required the educational institution will make you aware. Please place a copy of the CSS homepage in your portfolio for future reference, if need. This site may be used for the online application process.
